Job Description
Job title: Area Business Manager Role Summary: Oversee the sales of enteral feeding, critical care, patient handling, and vascular access products across a designated territory, driving revenue, market share, and customer satisfaction through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and effective sales execution. Expectations: Achieve and exceed financial and non‑financial KPIs, maintain accurate forecasting and reporting, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and uphold brand reputation while navigating NHS procurement processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement territory/account sales strategies aligned with business plans. - Prospect, present, trial, negotiate, and close sales with NHS hospitals and other healthcare providers. - Meet weekly/monthly sales targets and KPIs, and adjust tactics accordingly. - Prepare detailed sales forecasts, account plans, and investment proposals. - Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders and attend external customer and internal business‑development sessions. - Process and follow up on sales enquiries, ensuring timely communication. - Provide product training and support to customers as needed. - Maintain accurate administrative records, CRM data, and Excel-based reporting. - Perform market analysis, identify opportunities, and present strategies to management. Required Skills: - Minimum 5 years in endourology or medical device sales with deep knowledge of NHS procurement and decision‑making. - Strong sales process expertise, negotiation, and closing capabilities. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Results‑oriented, integrity‑driven, continuous learner, innovative, team‑oriented. - Proficient in Excel and general computer literacy. - Full driver’s licence. Required Education & Certifications: - Degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field (desirable). - Relevant medical device or endourology sales certification (preferred).
