Job Description

Job title: Senior Account Manager Role Summary: Drive growth and profitability within the HORECA channel across New York City by prospecting new accounts, managing existing relationships, and implementing sales strategies that align with company and customer objectives. Expectations: • 3+ years of sales experience in the consumer‑packaged goods industry. • Ability to travel throughout the NYC territory and operate independently. • Comfortable working evenings/late nights, attending corporate and customer events. • Owns a vehicle for in‑field visits. Key Responsibilities: • Partner with customers to develop and execute sales plans targeting volume and margin growth. • Conduct regular business reviews and keep customers informed of distribution updates and inventory status. • Sell day‑to‑day volumes, roll out promotional initiatives for new brands and packages. • Ensure adherence to contractual agreements and supply‑chain KPIs (e.g., OTIF). • Collaborate with internal distribution and planning teams to maintain service levels. • Leverage technology, including AI, to enhance sales effectiveness and creative thinking. Required Skills: • Strategic, analytical, and interpersonal acumen. • Strong sales process management and critical‑thinking abilities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint). • Tech‑savvy; adept at using systems and AI tools to drive sales. • Autonomous, self‑starter with excellent planning and goal‑orientation. • Evening availability (up to 8–10 PM) and willingness to attend events. Required Education & Certifications: • Four‑year college degree (preferred). • Hospitality industry experience in NYC preferred.
