Job Specifications

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for prospecting and managing new customers in the HORECA (hotels, restaurants, cafes) channels. Work hours in this position includes evenings.

Sales Territory: New York City (5 boroughs)

Bonus

Up to $9,000 per year in quarterly incentives.

Responsibilities

Partners with customers to develop and introduce a sales plan that will generate the desired growths in volume and profitability.
Demonstrated ability to be highly strategic, interpersonal and analytical.
Performs regular business reviews with customers within territory.
Sells in the day-to-day volumes and implement promotional strategies for the introduction of new brands and packages.
Ensures customers are following the agreement set with the company.
Interacts with distribution team and communicates with customers on distribution updates.
Reviews DOS/Inventory report daily and share inventory status with customers.
Works with the planning team to guarantee supply chain metrics (IE: OTIF) are satisfactory.

Qualifications

3 years in sales within consumer-packaged goods industry
Ability to travel as needed throughout respected territory: NYC
Ability to sell value, manage sales processes and think critically into covered accounts
Proficient with Power Point and Microsoft Office
Open to work into the evening (hospitality industry hours up to around 8PM)
Available for evening corporate and customer events (up to around 10PM)
Vehicle required (must travel with POS items)
Tech savvy (able to leverage AI to be bring a creative approach to sales/out of box thinkers)
Comfortable with managing system platforms
Demonstrated ability to act autonomously
Self-starter, goal oriented, excellent planning skills

Preferences

Four-year degree
Hospitality industry experience (NYC preferred)
