**Job title**
Practice Lead – Google Workspace (H/F)
**Role Summary**
Lead the Google Workspace practice within a technology consulting firm, balancing strategic growth and operational excellence. Own profitability, product design, program delivery, and human capital for the business unit, while acting as the primary liaison with Google partner teams.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive consulting or IT services experience, ideally in a practice‑lead or BU‑manager role.
- Proven track record in large‑scale change management, adoption, and deployment of Google Workspace.
- Deliver 80 % TACE (time‑to‑allocation for consultants), grow the team from 16 to 25 members by end‑2026, and maintain 100 % Google‑certified staff.
- Demonstrated ability to win and expand revenue from packaged AI/Gemini and transformation offerings.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Strategic & Innovative Leadership** – Design and structure AI‑centric, packaged service offers; respond to RFPs as technical and methodological lead; identify upsell opportunities with sales.
2. **Operational Delivery** – Plan BU staffing, manage bench for skill growth, supervise complex migration, remediation, and transformation programs, and act as sponsor or senior expert when needed.
3. **Governance & Process** – Oversee development centers (AppSheet, AppScript), ensure industrialized, secure, scalable processes, and manage the Delivery Readiness Portal.
4. **Alliance & Ecosystem Management** – Maintain front‑office relationships with Google Partner Managers and Solution Engineers, monitor Google roadmaps, and position the firm within the ecosystem.
5. **Human Capital & Scale** – Recruit, interview, onboard, and retain PMs, BAs, PO, and consultants; build a high‑performance culture; define and drive certification pathways.
6. **Metrics & Reporting** – Track TACE, team growth, revenue from packaged services, and certification success rates; report to founders.
**Required Skills**
- Deep expertise in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Meet, etc.) and low‑code platforms (AppSheet, AppScript).
- Strong change‑management and adoption experience at enterprise scale.
- Familiarity with generative AI (Google Gemini) and its integration into business processes.
- Operational rigor: KPI ownership, profitability focus, staffing, and program governance.
- Commercial acumen: client engagement, presentation, and proposal writing.
- Leadership: empathy, coaching, team motivation, and cultural building.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Current Google Workspace certifications required for the team; candidate should hold or be able to obtain relevant Google Partner certifications (e.g., Google Workspace Administrator, Google Cloud Architect).
