Job Description
**Job Title:** Inside Sales Representative **Role Summary:** Support the sales process by handling inbound RFQs, creating accurate quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with vendors, logistics, and accounting to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Collaborate closely with outside sales specialists and assist other departments as needed in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. **Expectations:** - Minimum 2 years of inside sales or customer‑facing experience. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage competing priorities. - Proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable interacting with vendors and customers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Receive and qualify inbound RFQs and customer inquiries. - Generate, present, and follow up on accurate sales quotes to secure business. - Process sales orders and coordinate pricing and lead‑time information with vendors. - Assist outside sales specialists with account coordination and follow‑up. - Work with logistics to monitor shipments, update customers, and resolve delivery issues. - Liaise with accounting to address invoice questions and discrepancies. - Maintain up‑to‑date records in internal CRM/ERP systems. - Provide occasional support to logistics or other departments during coverage gaps. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. - Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities. - Excellent written and oral communication. - Organizational and detail‑management skills. - Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners. - Familiarity with industrial distribution or manufacturing processes (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in business, sales, or related field preferred. - No specific certifications required; sales or customer service training is a plus.
