**Job title:** Cloud System Administrator
**Role Summary:** Manage, monitor, secure, and optimize Microsoft 365 cloud services, ensuring reliable business workflows and compliance across user, identity, and content environments.
**Expectations:** Deliver proactive, high‑availability cloud support; resolve Tier 2/3 issues quickly; enforce configuration standards; champion automation and AI productivity tools; collaborate with stakeholders and vendors for continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Power Platform, Copilot).
- Perform tenant configuration, service health monitoring, feature enablement, and lifecycle management.
- Manage user lifecycle (onboarding/offboarding, licensing, identity, group, mailbox management).
- Enforce Teams policies, SharePoint provisioning norms, external sharing controls, and collaboration settings.
- Administer Entra ID: authentication, RBAC, conditional access, identity governance.
- Implement and maintain security/compliance controls (audit logging, retention, sensitivity labeling, DLP).
- Respond to identity‑related incidents (phishing, risky sign‑ins, compromised accounts).
- Govern content: SharePoint/Teams permissions, metadata, lifecycle, integrations (e.g., Yardi Voyager).
- Develop automation via Power Automate and PowerShell; support low‑code solutions with Power Apps.
- Evaluate M365 roadmap, recommend enhancements, and champion AI productivity adoption.
- Manage licensing assignments, conduct cost‑optimization reviews.
- Coordinate with vendors, resolve escalations, and maintain configuration documentation and change logs.
- Provide training, documentation, and adoption support for Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
- Support communication and change management for new features and service enhancements.
**Required Skills:**
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem administration (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Power Platform, Copilot).
- Entra ID identity, access, and security management.
- Cloud security best practices (conditional access, DLP, sensitivity labeling, audit).
- Automation using Power Automate, PowerShell, Power Apps.
- Troubleshooting Tier 2/3 support, incident response, and workflow optimization.
- Documentation, configuration management, and change‑log upkeep.
- Strong communication, stakeholder collaboration, and training delivery.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years systems/cloud administration or SaaS support experience; 2 + years M365 administration.
- Microsoft certifications preferred: MS‑102, MS‑900, SC‑900, AZ‑900, PL‑900.
