**Job Title** Account Manager (Male/Female) **Role Summary** Drive the growth and profitability of strategic pharmaceutical accounts for an international specialty distribution group. Own the full account lifecycle: build multi‑year plans, cultivate senior relationships, negotiate agreements, and coordinate cross‑functional delivery to meet revenue and margin objectives. **Expectations** - Manage a portfolio of key accounts across France with a focus on high‑value clients. - Deliver measurable revenue and margin growth. - Maintain and deepen long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders (Purchasing, Medical, Market Access, Commercial). - Negotiate framework contracts and renewal terms. - Provide market intelligence to adapt product and service offerings to emerging needs. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and execute strategic account plans (mid‑ to long‑term). - Identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple service areas and business units. - Negotiate and close high‑value contracts and renewals. - Serve as the primary liaison for all client‑facing departments (Purchasing, Medical, Market Access, Commercial). - Collaborate with support teams to ensure quality delivery of services. - Track performance metrics and client satisfaction; adjust tactics accordingly. - Monitor pharmaceutical industry trends, regulatory changes, and digital innovation to inform account strategy. - Contribute to product/service portfolio refinement based on market insights. **Required Skills** - Mastery of complex sales cycles and strategic account management. - Strong negotiation and closing skills with C‑level stakeholders. - Cross‑functional project management and coordination. - In‑depth understanding of pharmaceutical industry, regulatory environment, and laboratory operations. - Excellent communication and relationship‑building in both English (professional level) and French (preferred). - Analytical mindset with proficiency in KPI monitoring and data‑driven decision making. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred with a science/health‑related component). - Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales and account management, including portfolio development and client retention. - Professional proficiency in English; French language skills highly advantageous.
