**Job Title:** Senior Python Developer / Lead Python Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead architect and developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high‑performance Python applications. Drive technical strategy, mentor teams, and ensure delivery of robust, production‑grade solutions across enterprise cloud‑native environments.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end backend solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
- Provide technical leadership, code ownership, and mentorship for mid‑to‑senior developers.
- Act as the primary liaison between product, QA, DevOps, and frontend teams to align on architecture and delivery.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and maintain large‑scale Python applications.
- Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop high‑performance backend systems and data‑driven applications.
- Optimize for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Lead code reviews, enforce standards, and mentor developers.
- Integrate third‑party services and external APIs.
- Collaborate across cross‑functional teams (frontend, DevOps, QA, product).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
**Required Skills:**
- **Core Python:** Expert (15+ yrs), OOP, design patterns, SOLID.
- **Asynchronous programming:** asyncio, threading, multiprocessing.
- **Frameworks & Web Development:** Django, Flask, FastAPI; REST, GraphQL; ORM (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).
- **Authentication:** OAuth2, JWT, SSO.
- **Databases:** PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis.
- **Data Handling:** Modeling, query optimization, caching strategies.
- **Microservices & Distributed Systems:** API gateways, Kafka, RabbitMQ, event‑driven architecture.
- **Containerization & Cloud:** Docker, Kubernetes; AWS / Azure / GCP.
- **CI/CD & DevOps:** Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI; Terraform, CloudFormation.
- **Monitoring & Logging:** ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
- **Security:** Secure coding, vulnerability remediation, RBAC, API security, compliance standards.
- **Leadership & Soft Skills:** Technical lead experience, stakeholder communication, Agile/Scrum, mentoring, analytical problem solving.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.
