Job Description
Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager Role Summary Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT initiatives within the pharmaceutical/biotech domain. Coordinate cross‑functional teams, align projects with strategic objectives, and ensure on‑time, on‑budget completion with high quality standards. Expectations - Drive project execution from scope definition to delivery, achieving stakeholder‑approved outcomes. - Maintain strong communication with technical and business audiences. - Provide proactive risk, budget, and resource management. - Demonstrate adaptability and decision‑making in ambiguous situations. - Support PMO governance and continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities - Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. - Develop and execute communication plans; deliver status reports and documentation. - Build and lead project teams, monitor progress, and resolve schedule or performance issues. - Create detailed schedules, track milestones, and adjust plans/resources to meet deadlines. - Manage financial performance, meet budget targets, and analyze cost impacts. - Oversee risk management, change control, vendor coordination, and quality gate approvals. - Obtain customer acceptance and contribute to post‑project reviews. - Perform additional duties as required. Required Skills - Strong organizational, prioritization, and self‑motivation. - Effective leadership of cross‑functional IT projects and resource orchestration. - Adaptability to change and ability to make decisions with limited data. - Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem solving. - Superior interpersonal and communication skills across technical and business stakeholders. - Ability to travel occasionally and work flexible hours. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible IT project management experience, preferably in pharma/biotech. - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred (equivalent education/experience may be considered).
