Job Description
**Job Title:** Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Analytical professional responsible for managing, developing, and analyzing diverse data sources—including primary research, national statistics, and third‑party industry datasets—to generate insights on UK advertising. Collaborates with non‑technical colleagues, creates self‑service dashboards, and communicates findings through reports and presentations. **Expectations:** - Demonstrate strong analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail. - Meet competing deadlines while working independently and proactively within a small team. - Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for senior stakeholders. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of analytics methods and industry developments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and maintain dashboards and visualisations for stakeholder self‑service. - Identify and implement improvements to data tools and pipelines. - Visualise and present insights via reports, PowerPoint decks, and written summaries. - Conduct full research cycle: data collection, survey design, primary data analysis, and reporting. - Manage Credos’ quarterly newsletter, LinkedIn profile, and website content. - Serve as first‑line technical support for analytics queries from non‑data colleagues. - Continuously develop personal analytics expertise and stay current with emerging technologies, including AI and large language models. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in data analytics with ability to generate actionable insights. - Strong data‑storytelling skills for diverse audiences. - Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS or equivalent). - Advanced Excel expertise. - Applied knowledge of quantitative research methodologies. - Experience building relationships with stakeholders and explaining data to non‑technical users. - Excellent written communication; clear, concise, engaging style. - Proactive problem‑solver with flexible, multitasking capability. - Familiarity with AI tools and LLMs for workflow improvement. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience. - No specific certifications mandated; relevant statistical or data‑analysis certifications are advantageous.
