Job Title: DDI Engineer
Role Summary: Responsible for planning, designing, deploying, and maintaining DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) infrastructure across enterprise environments. Leads large‑scale upgrades, migrations, and new deployments while ensuring scalability, reliability, and risk mitigation for internal stakeholders.
Expactations: Deliver DDI solutions that meet business requirements, adhere to project governance, and support global operations. Communicate effectively across teams and time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end DDI infrastructure projects, including physical and logical upgrades and migrations.
- Design and operationalize DDI services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) in new environments, ensuring consumption and scalability.
- Conduct risk assessments, address headwind challenges, and evaluate downstream impacts on users and services.
- Manage project documentation, timelines, and governance using industry‑standard methodologies and tools.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, providing technical guidance and facilitating agile ceremonies.
- Automate DDI processes using scripting and orchestration tools (shell, Ansible, VBA, Python, JavaScript).
- Integrate and expose APIs, JSON, and other data formats for network services.
Required Skills:
- Expert proficiency with DDI technologies: Cygna VitalQIP, AMS & AMM’s, EfficientIP, Infoblox, and F5 BIG‑IP DNS.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, and DNS protocols.
- Experience with automation and scripting languages (shell, Ansible, VBA, Python, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with API integration, JSON, and related data formats.
- Agile team experience, participation in ceremonies, and working knowledge of JIRA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; ability to work across time zones and cultures.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional certifications in DDI or network technologies (e.g., Infoblox, EfficientIP, F5, or similar) preferred.
