Job Description
Job Title: Technical Services Support Intern Role Summary: The Intern supports the Technical Services department by verifying instrument data, migrating data to Salesforce, documenting workflows, standardizing templates, and generating reports. This role provides hands‑on exposure to service operations, data analysis, and cross‑functional coordination to enhance productivity and service quality. Expectations: • Complete assigned tasks on time while juggling multiple priorities. • Demonstrate initiative and independent problem‑solving. • Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, with internal teams and external customers. • Uphold confidentiality and data integrity standards. Key Responsibilities: • Verify Salesforce instrument tracking data and support data mining for LeadCare migration. • Coordinate RMA documentation and monitor the Technical Service mailbox. • Compile monthly metrics, generate reports, and create weekly issue summaries. • Convert tacit knowledge into formal SOPs and templates. • Organize and tag internal documents in SharePoint, Teams, and J:Drive. • Develop and update training decks, quick‑start guides, and an onboarding portal. • Map current service workflow (MC → Diagnose → Repair → QC → Close) and standardize report formats. • Arrange and catalog storage areas; destroy expired USB keys. • Assist with instrument return logistics and documentation. Required Skills: • Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability. • Excellent written and verbal communication. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel. • Experience with ERP and business analytics software. • Effective time‑management and multitasking. • Team‑building and interpersonal skills. • Accountability and sound judgment. • Ability to translate complex data into clear reports. Required Education & Certifications: • Current student at an accredited college/university, majoring in Biology, Microbiology, Medical Technology, or related field. • Minimum 3.0 GPA. ---
