Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Business Analyst – Regulatory & Bureau Management (Property & Casualty) **Role Summary:** Senior Business Analyst responsible for reviewing, coordinating, and implementing regulatory circulars from insurance bureaus and agencies. Acts as liaison among business stakeholders, compliance, product development, and IT to ensure timely regulatory compliance and accurate data reporting. **Expectations:** - Minimum 6 years’ experience in insurance, preferably in policy administration, regulatory, or bureau functions. - Strong analytical ability to assess regulatory impact and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment. - Effective communication with internal teams and external bureaus. - Ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Review and assess regulatory circulars from bureaus (e.g., NCCI, ISO, CA WCIRB, DE Rating Bureau, FL JUA). - Upload, track, and maintain circulars in SharePoint or equivalent repository. - Analyze timing, dependencies, and business impact of regulatory changes; align with IT development schedules. - Understand and support bureau maintenance processes (filed and approval circulars). - Collaborate with Product Development, Compliance, IT, SMEs, and external bureaus to capture regulatory data requirements. - Document attributes and requirements for regulatory maintenance. - Communicate regulatory alerts to internal customers and facilitate required changes. - Support generation of reports, data analysis, and documentation for regulatory initiatives. - Perform additional duties as directed by management. **Required Skills:** - In‑depth knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance regulations. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SharePoint experience preferred. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to interpret regulatory language. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. - Ability to manage changing priorities and meet tight deadlines. - Experience with reporting and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field. - Professional insurance certifications (e.g., CPCU, AIC, ARM) preferred but not mandatory.
