Job Title: Staff CloudOps Developer
Role Summary:
Lead Cloud Operations and infrastructure engineering for a large-scale payment platform. Own architecture design, CI/CD pipeline development, container orchestration, automation tooling, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure reliability, scalability, and security of the platform.
Expectations:
- Senior technical leader with 7+ years of cloud ops experience, mentoring peers and driving process improvements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across product, security, compliance, and development teams.
- Self‑motivated, innovative, and dedicated to continuous learning and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive large‑scale technical and architectural discussions, shaping infrastructure strategy.
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud and container infrastructure (AWS, EKS/ECS, Kubernetes).
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, reducing change lead time and improving reliability.
- Deliver automated tooling for developer productivity, system monitoring, and configuration management.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding standards.
- Mentor team members, promote best practices, and share knowledge across the organization.
- Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours support of critical infrastructure.
- Champion automation of manual processes and reduce operational overhead.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years’ hands‑on cloud operations experience (AWS preferred).
- Proficient in Kubernetes/EKS cluster management and microservices deployment.
- GitOps experience with FluxCD or ArgoCD.
- Strong DevOps toolset: GitHub/GitLab, Ansible, Artifactory, Snyk, Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation.
- Pipeline development using at least one programming language for production backend services.
- Deep understanding of networking, Linux/Windows infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross‑functional teamwork.
- Proven track record of improving engineering standards, processes, and mentorship.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant cloud certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
