**Job Title:** Experienced/Senior Gameplay Programmer **Role Summary** Design, implement, and optimize gameplay systems within a proprietary engine for large‑scale, unannounced projects. Work closely with multidisciplinary team members, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to project constraints. **Expectations** - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable gameplay code that meets technical and design specifications. - Collaborate openly with artists, designers, and other developers to shape feature implementation. - Maintain code standards, review peers’ work, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes. **Key Responsibilities** - Implement complex gameplay classes and systems in C/C++. - Debug and resolve non‑trivial bugs; address simple performance issues. - Perform pre‑commit testing, anticipate potential problems, and enforce coding standards. - Review code, provide constructive feedback, and support team members. - Track progress, update tasks in Jira, and participate in backlog reviews and prioritisation. **Required Skills** - Advanced C/C++ programming and object‑oriented development. - Proven experience on at least one published console/PC title, with gameplay and game‑flow responsibilities. - Multi‑threaded programming expertise. - Familiarity with project scheduling, milestones, and deliverables. - Knowledge of industry best practices and strong mathematical aptitude. - Interest in shooter or cooperative game genres. **Required Education & Certifications** - Not specified; relevant professional experience is mandatory.
