Job Description

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend and full‑stack features for a high‑volume business‑critical product. Own the end‑to‑end delivery of solutions that directly impact customer usage metrics. Expactations: - Deliver production‑ready code and features on a frequent cadence. - Own technical scope and outcomes without stepping into management. - Balance rapid iteration with robust engineering practices. - Provide clear technical guidance to founders, product, and customer teams. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and ship end‑to‑end features addressing concrete customer pain points. - Develop, extend, and scale core product surfaces and internal tools using Python, FastAPI, React, and TypeScript. - Optimize system performance, reliability, and observability for large, sensitive data workloads. - Collaborate directly with founders, product managers, and customers to refine requirements and trade‑offs. - Define and improve engineering tooling, deployment pipelines, testing frameworks, and incident response procedures. Required Skills: - 5+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrable production system delivery. - Deep expertise in Python and experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks. - Proficiency in front‑end technologies: React and TypeScript. - Cloud experience (Google Cloud Platform or AWS) and knowledge of infra‑as‑code, CI/CD, and observability tools. - Proven ability to prioritize, iterate quickly, and own outcomes in a startup/scale‑up environment. - Strong coding practices, automated testing, and performance‑engineering mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. ---
