Here is a description of the role we are opening:
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Ensure deployment of procurement strategy across Site Procurement teams
CAPEX Portfolio Management: Oversee CAPEX portfolio, align with growth and investment strategies, prioritize and execute efficiently with the CAPEX Procurement manager and site procurement managers
Indirect Procurement Management: Lead sourcing, procurement, and supplier management for non-production goods and services; implement best practices
Performance and Competitiveness: Challenge site procurement teams on performance, identify and develop multi-site synergies, ensure KPIs are met
Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic CAPEX & Indirect supplier relationships, monitor performance and compliance
Policies and Procedures: Establish and improve standardized procurement methodologies and tools across sites
Team Development: Recruit, trained and develop high-performing teams; provide coaching and mentoring, fostering continuous improvement
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in procurement
Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyze performance metrics and KPIs
Direct management: Lead and motivate multi-cultural teams across global sites to ensure resource alignment, conduct hiring, training, and annual appraisals
Project management: Drive multi-site procurement projects and strategic initiatives
Qualification
10+ Years of extensive industrial experience in Indirect and CAPEX purchasing, ideally in semi-Conductor / Automotive industry
Management skills with ability to work effectively within matrix and international organizational structures
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices (commodity management, plant purchasing, negotiation, SRM, contract management)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English; French and or Chinese are a plus
