Associate Director, Enterprise Data Science

Join our client's innovative team as an Associate Director in Enterprise Data Science and lead the charge in transforming data into strategic value. In this pivotal role within the INDIGO | AI Innovation Lab, you will spearhead the development of advanced data science capabilities, oversee impactful projects, and serve as a technical leader and mentor. Your expertise will drive the creation of cutting-edge solutions that empower our client's organization, particularly in the pharmaceutical and health-related industries. Based in Waltham with a hybrid work schedule, this is your opportunity to shape the future of data-driven healthcare innovations.

What You'll Bring To The Table

Demonstrated proficiency in designing and deploying sophisticated analytical models and AI solutions, including natural language processing and GenAI applications.
Advanced skills in programming languages such as Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using libraries like pandas, Numpy, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
Familiarity with big data tools and cloud platforms, especially AWS, Dataiku, and Snowflake, and knowledge of data governance frameworks including FAIR principles.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, LLMs, statistical analysis, and MLOps practices for scalable and production-ready deployment.
Proven ability to lead the development of digital platforms and tools that enhance organizational efficiency and data accessibility.
Excellent collaboration skills to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex insights to senior leadership.
Robust problem-solving mindset with the capacity to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills That Are a Plus

Experience with graph databases like Neo4J and visualization tools such as Tableau or ReactJS/D3.
Familiarity with regulatory standards in healthcare and biotechnology, including HIPAA compliance.
Exposure to the latest GenAI innovations and graph analytics.
Prior experience working within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.

Preferred Education & Experience

A master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; a Ph.D. is highly regarded.
Between 5 to 7 years of proven success delivering impactful data science solutions, with demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience.

Other Requirements

Ability to work on a hybrid schedule in Waltham, MA.
Relevant certifications or experience with regulatory standards in healthcare data governance.
