Security Coordinator in Ghana

Role overview

ACK3 is searching for a skilled Security Coordinator to oversee our security operations in Morocco. The role focuses on ensuring the physical and operational security of ACK3's projects within the region, particularly where fast and reliable risk management is essential. This role requires close collaboration with local teams and continuous alignment with our global support center to maintain strict security standards.

Main Responsibilities

Physical security oversight: Coordinate and ensure on-the-ground security for our teams, managing secure transport and protection for operations throughout Morocco.
Manage local security personnel: Oversee and direct local security staff, including drivers and armed escorts, to maintain a secure operational environment.
Risk assessment execution: Conduct regular and thorough risk assessments, developing response strategies tailored to the region's specific security challenges.
Implement security protocols: Enforce high-level security protocols, adjusting measures as needed based on real-time risk assessments.
Coordination with PMO: Work closely with ACK3's Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure all activities align with security standards and key performance indicators (KPIs). Our 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) in Europe provides additional operational support.
Field Intelligence Gathering (HuMInt): Collect and analyze field intelligence to inform and update security measures as situations evolve.
Reporting and Documentation: Generate comprehensive reports on security activities, incidents, and preventive actions, ensuring constant communication with management.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in security coordination and team management, preferably in North Africa or similar regions.
Security certifications: Formal training in security and risk assessment (international certifications are beneficial).
Risk analysis expertise: Proven experience in executing risk assessments and implementing tailored security protocols.
Human Intelligence Skills (HuMInt): Proficiency in gathering and utilizing local intelligence in security operations.
Strong communication abilities: Proficiency in both English and French, with an ability to communicate effectively across cultural settings.
Flexibility and adaptability: Prepared to travel and respond to changing operational needs as required.
