The Role
The Victoria and Albert Museum's commercial technology estate spans several critical platforms, including Salesforce (e-commerce), Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), and Galaxy (ticketing), which operate independently and lack architectural cohesion.
The Solution Architect will work closely with the Head of Enterprise Architecture to lead the evaluation and transformation of this landscape. This role will not only define the future-state architecture but also take active responsibility for the implementation and delivery of end-to end solutions.
Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with commercial systems--such as e-commerce, CRM, marketing automation, and ticketing is essential. The Solution Architect will act as a technical authority across programmes, ensuring proposed solutions are scalable, integrated, and aligned with the Museum's strategic goals. The role will also support decision-making on platform selection, vendor engagement, and data architecture to enable a unified, customer centric digital experience.
Product Owners, Technical Teams, and external delivery partners to ensure successful solutionisation, delivery governance, and platform evolution aligned with business goals.
