Workday Data Migration Analyst
PS500 - PS530 per day (Inside IR35)
London
We are seeking an experienced Workday Data Migration Analyst to join a leading Systems Integrator on a critical data migration project for a major Financial Services client. This hands-on role involves detailed analysis, preparation, transformation, testing, and troubleshooting of data migration activities across complex platforms.
The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Workday data migration within mid to large-scale programmes, strong stakeholder management skills across HR, HR Technology, and external teams, and the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality data transformation and validation.
Experience Required:
Experience of working with Workday data migration in mid to large scale programmes
Stakeholder engagement across HR, HR Tech, and external teams
Document data transformation and mapping rules with clear understanding of mapping between source and target systems
Execute data cleansing and transformation tasks to prepare data for loading (populate EIBs manually from source data)
Hands on involvement in end to end testing of migrated data
Test automated data transformation against source data, documented transformation rules and requisite output in EIB formats
Test data in Workday against received source, documented transformation and EIB data input provided
Validate data and provide assurance on any automated testing
Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification.
Nice to have
Experience of dealing with data cutover activity
Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM (in addition to, not instead of, Workday)
Experience with SAP HR (in addition to, not instead of, Workday)
