Lead Network Engineer

London - Hybrid

We're looking for a Lead Network Engineer to lead a small team within a fast-paced MSP. You will be hands-on within this leadership role, responsible for guiding a team of network engineers, managing escalations, and ensuring high-quality service delivery for managed services customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the technical escalation point for complex incidents and requests.
Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, including 1:1s, performance reviews, and professional development.
Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved efficiently and within SLA.
Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver seamless service.
Drive Problem Management processes and root cause analysis.
Support onboarding of new services and contribute to service transition efforts.
Document and improve technical processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Skills & Experience:

Proven expertise in enterprise networking (Cisco routing/switching, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, Meraki, DNAC).
Experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls preferred.
Knowledge of cloud networking (Azure) and network automation/scripting is a plus.
Background in ITIL-based service management (Incident, Problem, Change).
Previous team leadership experience is desirable.
CCNP certification.
