Summary Description:
We are looking for an experienced ITOM Expert with deep knowledge of Discovery and Service Mapping to join our team on a full-time freelance basis. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality ITOM implementations and support.
Role Type: Freelance
Start Date: Immediate/Within 1 month
Location/Language: Belgium - Hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days on site) - English + French ideally (English + Dutch also considered)
Requirements Description:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping.
Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
Proven experience in translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
Must be available to work 2 days per week on site in Belgium and 3 days remotely.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French or Dutch is an advantage.
Tasks Description:
Engage with business and IT stakeholders to define and understand requirements.
Lead ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping activities to ensure accurate infrastructure visibility.
Develop, analyse, and document use cases and technical solutions.
Provide expert-level guidance on ITOM best practices and architecture.
Drive continuous improvement and support operational excellence.
Produce clear documentation on workflows, configurations, and solutions.
Essential Skills/Experience Description:
5+ years of ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping experience.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
Fluency in English.
Desirable Skills/Additional Information Description:
Proficiency in French and/or Dutch.
Experience in enterprise environments.
Familiarity with ITSM/ITOM best practices and tools such as ServiceNow.
Relevant certifications or training are a plus.
