We are seeking a Security Engineer to join our team. This role will involve implementing and maintaining robust security practices throughout the software development lifecycle, performing threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and supporting incident response efforts.
The ideal candidate will have experience in secure SDLC, threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment, security systems implementation, incident response, compliance, training, and risk management, and a passion for cybersecurity and digital protection.

Pay Rate: $40 - $50/hr. on W2
Job Description:
Integrate security practices into all phases of the software development lifecycle (Secure SDLC)
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security risks
Stay informed on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities through threat intelligence analysis
Design, build, and maintain security controls such as firewalls and encryption
Investigate and respond to security incidents and data breaches with root-cause analysis
Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance
Deliver security awareness training to staff and users on threat recognition and best practices
Collaborate with developers, IT administrators, and stakeholders to implement security strategies
Identify, assess, and manage security risks to reduce organizational exposure
