Walker Cole International is supporting a leading pharmaceutical company in the appointment of a Vice President Commercial (UK). This is a high-impact leadership opportunity within a business undergoing strategic transformation, offering the chance to shape the future of a diverse and complex portfolio.

Location: Southeast England (Hybrid)

The Opportunity:

This executive role will lead customer-facing activities for a UK pharmaceutical business, overseeing a broad portfolio of pharmaceutical products across specialty care and hospital channels. With full P&L accountability, the VP will drive commercial performance, lead cross-functional teams, and play a key role in strategic planning, launch execution, and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a high-performing team across marketing, sales, medical, and commercial functions
Drive strategic growth initiatives and transformation aligned with global objectives
Oversee launch planning, market access strategy, and portfolio optimisation
Represent the UK business in global forums and collaborate across international teams

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Senior leadership experience within the UK pharmaceutical industry
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in product launches and market access
Deep understanding of NHS dynamics, tendering processes, and hospital channel strategy
Inspirational leadership style with experience managing large, cross-functional teams
Comfortable navigating complex, matrixed environments and leading change
Experience in both affiliate and global roles is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Life Sciences or Business
MBA advantageous
