Immediate need for a talented Project Manager – PMO Support. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Houston, TX (Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $48 - $52/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
Support the program manager in setting and enforcing deadlines and adhering to project timelines
Ensure that project work meets established quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
Facilitate effective communication among cross-functional teams, stakeholders, leadership, and external partners
Prepare clear and concise status reports and presentations to update stakeholders and leadership on project progress
Schedule and organize project team meetings, including preparing agendas and distributing meeting minutes
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, plans, and reports
Track project progress, including milestones, deliverables, and potential issues
Help manage and monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation
Ensure proper filing and organization of all project-related documentation at a team and enterprise level
Provide administrative support, such as processing paperwork and tracking deliverables
Collaborate with the program manager to identify and resolve blockers that may hinder progress
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Key skills; Project Management
Jira or Confluence
Budget tracking OR Milestone
Proficiency in Microsoft and other project management software such as Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Jira, Confluence, Miro
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate project goals and provide clear updates to stakeholders and leadership
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with excellent attention to detail
A proactive approach to identifying problems and helping to develop effective solutions
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Project Management or Agile-Focused certifications such as PMP, CAPM, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, etc.
5+ years work experience as a project manager (experience in the Insurance/Finance industry a plus)
