Join the Wireless Logic Adventure:
You will report into a Software Engineering Manager for the Polaris squad in the Product Experiences Domain. You'll collaborate with your Product Manager, Engineering Team Lead, Delivery Manager and engineering colleagues to produce experiences that drive customer-value.
We are currently re-imagining our product engineering practices, and you'll have an opportunity to inform our direction. We have an exciting, ambitious vision and we need your help to shape and fulfil our goals.
We are evolving into a Product Operating Model, shifting from an IT mindset to a product-driven culture that focuses on solving real customer problems and delivering tangible business outcomes.
As part of this transformation, we are building a cutting-edge AI & Analytics platform that will enable businesses to harness the power of predictive intelligence, generative AI, and sustainability-focused analytics.
We’re looking for a Software Engineer who has primarily specialised in building backend systems, but also one who is keen to learn new things, make an impact and contribute across the stack — from Frontend to Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain RESTful APIs and EDAs (Node, NestJs, Kafka)
Implement SLIs and SLOs to better understand our services (Grafana)
Develop and maintain complex user interfaces and web applications (React)
Actively participate in CI/CD strategy with wider-team and colleagues
Collaborate with your colleagues and be a strong team player
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Continuously grow yourself and contribute to team development
Key Experience & Skills:
Required
Experience implementing asynchronous processing and messaging systems
Experience working with REST APIs
Experience implementing frontend frameworks
Experience building, optimising and maintaining production applications end-to-end
Experience with PostgreSQL, including query optimisation and performance tuning
Preferred
Experience with microfrontends and component communication
Handling basic data migration and transformation processes
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration (GitLab)
Familiarity with working on projects involving LLM or Machine Learning (plus, but not required)
