Contract

Join a high-impact finance team supporting strategic decisions across a £500m+ portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to deliver quarterly insights, provide advisory support, and help shape financial outcomes through expert analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Support audit and integration activities following a recent merger, reporting to the Senior Financial Data Manager
Collaborate with teams across Finance, Credit Risk, Collections, Billing, Customer Payments, and more
Assist with quarterly audit testing for order-to-cash processes, including handset funding and repayments
Work across multiple billing and reporting systems to ensure accurate audit coverage
Maintain and update end-to-end process documentation to support compliance and transparency
Liaise with external auditors to meet audit requirements for both entities
Backfill ad hoc business-as-usual tasks to free up team capacity for audit and integration priorities
Contribute to the setup of new financial programmes, such as handset receivable financing
Perform detailed data mining and validation to support audit accuracy

What you'll bring:

Specialist knowledge of financial methods and processes
Basic coding experience in SQL or SAS or Python
Strong Finance documentation experience.
Highly numerate and analytical with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong Customer focus working
Confident and capable of communicating and influencing effectively to all levels.
Experience of working in an operational environment and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Experience with work streams, workflows and CRM systems
Good Excel Skills

Nice to haves:

Mobile telecommunication industry experience.
