What is a Business Development Executive at Gurus Solutions?

Sales Executives are ambitious go-getters and are passionate about bringing the best solution to clients and lead them to the next step in their strategic growth!

Main Responsibilities

Build pipeline of qualified opportunities through strategic and disciplined business development individual effort in order to achieve territory sales quota. Proactively contact and follow-up regularly on leads and target accounts and record activity in the CRM.
Develop your network by attending marketing and networking events such as seminars, conferences, trade shows, and develop strong relationship with strategic partners
Define a sales strategy and execution plan for each opportunity that will include a timeline, technical support needed and implementation key milestones. Clearly communicate your plan to your team and follow the progress of each step of the sales cycle.
Lead and coordinate the preparation of Netsuite demonstration with your assigned Solution Consultant team. Prepare professional and effective sales presentations, proposals and support documentation including response to RFP’s.
Lead the commercial negotiation following GURUS & Oracle pricing guidelines and rules and coordinate the contract negotiation with the support of GURUS legal team.
Maintain and update in real-time the CRM system with accurate information including expected close date, budget, timeline, next steps and any valuable information that will help forecast revenues accurately & allow GURUS operation team to plan ahead and ensure great customer experience.
Act as a liaison for prospects and Gurus Solutions’s customers in your assigned territory, by leading the opportunity information to our NetSuite Consultants & Developers assigned on the project

What do you need to be a good Sales Executive at Gurus?

Must be fluent in French & English this position will focus on the Quebec territory;
5 + years of experience in Sales or as a Sales Executive;
University degree in business administration, management, engineering, technology, accounting or any other relevant discipline;
Problem-solver with a keen sense for customer experience and satisfaction;
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization - you’re known for your storytelling and presentation skills;
Excellent listening and negotiating abilities;
Strong initiative, resourcefulness and time management skills;
Ability to absorb and understand the complexity of each of our clients while working in a collaborate and teamwork environment
Ability to build a network with other associations to connect as many possible prospects and identify suitable companies that could be a good fit;
The following are bonuses:
Knowledge of ERP (Netsuite is a double bonus!);
Knowledge of manufacturing or distribution industries;
Great understanding of business workings in a company - business acumen can help you understand client requirements and propose business technology solutions.
