Position Overview

We’re looking for an entry-level Associate Automotive Project/Program Manager to support complex automotive programs from concept through launch. This role involves coordinating cross-functional activities, supporting program execution, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. You’ll work closely with engineers, project managers, and leadership teams to keep programs on track and moving toward successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and support high-level automotive programs from initial concept to final implementation.
Guide, coordinate, and review the work of project team members.
Assign project managers to handle cost, schedule, and performance for specific components of the program.
Ensure program scope aligns with strategic business goals and recommend adjustments to improve results.
Coordinate resource sharing across teams to support overall program success.
Build strong relationships, maintain communication across all levels, and represent the program effectively.
Apply broad knowledge of engineering concepts, project management practices, and industry procedures.
Handle a wide range of complex tasks and make sound decisions using experience and judgment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
0–3 years of experience in automotive engineering or program management (3 years preferred).
GPA must be included on the resume.
Strong skills in finance, cross-cultural awareness, leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Ability to build credibility and maintain strong communication with customers at multiple levels, including external partners.
Familiarity with various engineering applications, software tools, and system life-cycle methodologies.
Ability to travel occasionally to Detroit (approximately twice per month).
Onsite role at ARDC (Windsor).
Note: Driving a Stellantis vehicle while on assignment is not permitted.
