Associate Manager, Medical Information
Location: Hybrid – 3 days on-site per week
Contract: Full-time, 12 month Contracted role

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Associate Manager, Medical Information to join a dynamic Medical Affairs team within a leading global biopharmaceutical environment. This role focuses on providing high-quality Medical Information (MI) support across advanced therapy products, including cell-based and oncology treatments.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the Medical Information subject matter expert for assigned advanced therapy products and related therapeutic areas.
Provide timely, accurate, and balanced responses to unsolicited medical enquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and internal colleagues, using approved materials and relevant scientific literature.
Support escalation of MI requests from external vendors/call centres and ensure consistent, high-quality communication.
Identify and report adverse events and product quality complaints in alignment with internal SOPs and compliance standards.
Develop, update, and quality-check Standard Response Documents (SRDs) and other MI content, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and evolving scientific data.
Maintain the MI document repository, ensuring regular literature surveillance and updates following regulatory submissions, scientific congresses, and publication of new evidence.
Contribute to therapeutic and product-specific training for MI vendors, internal teams, and cross-functional partners.
Generate, review, and analyse Medical Information metrics, extracting insights, trends, and data gaps to support strategic content development and engagement planning.
Collaborate effectively across Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, and Commercial functions with minimal supervision.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex scientific information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
Solid understanding of regulatory and legal requirements governing Medical Information in the pharmaceutical sector.
Ability to analyse, interpret, and evaluate clinical, biomedical, and scientific data.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and project management experience.
Awareness of digital/omnichannel solutions used to deliver MI services to healthcare providers and patients.
Education & Experience
Advanced scientific or clinical degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD) preferred.
Previous Medical Information experience within the pharmaceutical industry is essential.
Experience in cell therapy, oncology, immunotherapy, or advanced therapeutics is highly desirable.
Experience working with Medical Information vendors or call-centre partners is advantageous.
Prior exposure to Medical Affairs, drug development, or clinical research environments is beneficial.
