We’re Hiring: Health and Safety Administration Assistant

Garth, Wales | Major UK Infrastructure Project | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Possible Extension)

Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum

Are you an organised, detail-driven professional who loves making workplaces safer and more efficient?

We’re looking for a Health and Safety Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in supporting one of the UK’s most exciting infrastructure projects — right here in Garth, Wales.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension — a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, high-impact environment while contributing to meaningful work that shapes the UK’s future.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the heartbeat of our Health and Safety operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing administrative and clerical support to the Health & Safety team

Managing documentation and records (training matrices, reports, uploads to Themis)

Analysing data trends to spot opportunities for improvement

Taking accurate minutes in meetings

Liaising with project teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders

Supporting onboarding and induction processes for new starters

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who’s organised, proactive, and ready to make an impact.

You’ll bring:

Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role
Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint — Publisher/Visio a bonus!)
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Confidence with data and reporting
A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn

Experience in a construction or project-based environment is a plus — but passion and attention to detail matter most.
