IMMEDIATE INTERIM OPPORTUNITY

Interim Global Director of IT (Operations & Supply Chain ERP)

Reporting to: Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Duration: 3 – 6 months (possible permanent)

Location: Toronto, ON Canada (remote)

Our client, a Canadian, publicly traded consumer goods manufacturing company, is in urgent need of an Interim Global Director of IT Operations and Supply Chain ERP. This director to VP-level executive with strong manufacturing industry experience will provide leadership to the team and support a number of key projects until a permanent hire is made. The ideal interim leader will have led IT teams of 15+ team members and have a passion for delivering solutions to a complex business that has grown organically and through acquisition.

Key Accountabilities:

End-to-end global ownership of ERP Enterprise Supply Chain. This includes (but not limited to) Manufacturing, Warehousing, Transportation, Logistics, Planning, Procurement, Quality and Analytics.
Oversight of global IT operations including Monitoring, Business Support, Service Now management and optimization, core application uptime, User Experience and Lifecycle Management.
Management of all IT infrastructure throughout the organization. This includes operational execution and strategic roadmap.
With input from key stakeholders create and execute the IT strategy for Supply Chain and Operations.
Lead for technical Integrations including Enterprise ERP, Operational and continuous monitoring.
Own the portfolio strategy and lead a team of high performing project leads, business analysts, developers, testers and change management resources.
Manage, Coach, mentor, and train the team with a view to value creation that is directly linked to business outcomes.
Oversee user application security management and manage SOX compliance requirements.
Effectively manage and maintain a PCI-DSS card holder data environment.
Manage a multimillion-dollar budget with stakeholders (opex/capex).
Drive process management and optimization mindset within the portfolio.
Lead and collaborate with Business stakeholders on key deliverables to support their priorities and appropriately manage the risk to the business.
Provide strategy and execution planning to deploy a global footprint in a cloud/SAAS environment while standardizing a Global/Local business need.
Work with key stakeholders to operationalize the global cyber security strategy.
Understand current solution capabilities and drive a deployment roadmap that will deliver business value while reducing Total Cost of Ownership of applications.
Drive industry best practice improvements to standardize, simplify and improve business workflow, transactional execution, and innovation.
Oversee key projects and development efforts to ensure a high-quality and efficient execution of the project from definition, planning, system design, solution development, testing, documentation, implementation, and solution validation perspective.
Effectively negotiate with IT vendors and manage the delivery of projects and/or operational services to successfully support the business priorities.

Competencies and Requirements:

10+ years of progressive experience leading IT teams through change within medium to large manufacturing, retail or CPG environments.
Demonstrated success providing leadership for complex enterprise ERP delivery, management, and optimization.
Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage multiple priorities; PMP certification an asset.
Experience managing multi million-dollar department budgets.
Extensive IT operations, systems integration/development and enterprise architecture experience;
University degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent;
Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and leadership skills with the ability to drive decision-making by quickly gaining consensus;
Experience leading projects involving multi-disciplinary teams operating in a fast-paced, innovation driven environment.
Proven experience creating strategic roadmaps, fostering sponsorship and delivering the desired outcome.
Experience working in a publicly traded organization and/or regulated environments with robust IT General Control Frameworks – PCI-DSS, SOX/C-SOX, GPDR, GMP, NIST, PII. Experience with Azure cloud environment would be an asset.
In depth experience with the following applications – Sage, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Kinaxis, Visualization Tools.
