We’re looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract, supporting ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards across our site. This role plays a key part in maintaining accreditation, driving improvements, and ensuring quality standards remain consistent across all operations.

What you’ll be doing

Conducting internal audits to support ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
Supporting third-party audits and maintaining accreditation.
Leading and facilitating 8D and PPS processes to resolve issues and drive improvements.
Performing process and product audits and managing corrective actions.
Delivering operator training on quality-related topics.
Managing master samples, reference samples, and ensuring control plans are always up to date.
Supporting first-off inspections and helping to drive site-wide QHSE KPIs.

What we’re looking for

At least 5 years’ experience in a Quality Engineering role.
Auditor trained to ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
Strong understanding of dimensional metrology and experience with small measurement instruments.
Comfortable reading and interpreting engineering drawings and CAD data.
Familiar with core quality tools: SPC, APQP, and PPAP.
Skilled communicator – clear, pragmatic, and professional at all levels.
CMM programming experience is advantageous but not essential.
A genuine problem solver with a proactive, hands-on approach.
Full UK driving licence required.
