Job Specifications

Act as the liaison between commodity trading desks, risk management teams, and IT development teams. Translate business needs (e.g., trade capture, risk reporting, compliance) into technical requirements for system enhancements or new applications. Conduct stakeholder interviews with traders, analysts, and operations teams. Document functional and non-functional requirements for systems like trade management platforms, pricing engines, and risk systems. Create artifacts such as use cases, process flows, data flow diagrams, and wireframes. Understand commodity market dynamics (supply demand, pricing models, risk factors).Ensure IT solutions support real-time pricing, hedging strategies, and regulatory compliance for commodities like oil, metals, and agricultural products. Work with large datasets (market prices, positions, PL) to validate system outputs. Use tools like SQL, Excel, and BI platforms Coordinate with developers and QA teams to ensure integration of trading platforms with risk and settlement systems. Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate that solutions meet business requirements. Ensure systems comply with commodity market regu-lations (e.g., Dodd-Frank, EMIR).Support reporting requirements for trade transparency and risk management. Act as a single point of contact for IT projects impacting commodity trading.

Provide clear updates to risk managers, and senior leadership on project progress and system changes.
