About the Opportunity

A major digital workplace modernization initiative is underway, and the organization is seeking a highly skilled Content Management Specialist to lead the implementation, governance, and long-term operations of a new enterprise intranet platform. This solution will replace the current legacy intranet and become the unified access point for employees across all departments.

In this role, you will act as both the Product Owner and Content Management Lead, ensuring the platform evolves into an organized, user-friendly, and fully integrated hub for communication, workflows, knowledge management, and employee support.

This is a one-year contract with a strong potential to convert into a full-time position based on performance and evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Implementation & Ownership

Lead the setup, configuration, rollout, and long-term management of the new intranet platform.
Serve as the Product Owner overseeing platform roadmap, enhancements, usability, and adoption.
Guide the organization through the transition from a legacy intranet to a modern digital workplace environment.

Systems Integration

Coordinate integrations between the intranet and key enterprise systems used across a healthcare-focused environment, including:

Jira Service Management
Salesforce
Workday
Additional operational and clinical support systems

Ensure the intranet becomes a seamless “front door” to tools, workflows, and enterprise applications.

Content Management & Governance

Establish content governance frameworks, publishing workflows, and information architecture standards.
Manage the central content repository to ensure content is accurate, structured, and accessible.
Support internal teams in adopting new content creation and publishing practices.

Operations, Analytics & Optimization

Monitor platform performance, adoption metrics, and engagement analytics.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Troubleshoot issues and coordinate fixes with internal IT and external partners.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with Communications, HR, IT, and Employee Experience teams to ensure the intranet reflects organizational priorities.
Support internal branding, employee engagement, and digital transformation initiatives.
Provide training, documentation, and guidance to platform users and content authors.

Must-Have Qualifications

Strong experience with enterprise Content Management Systems or intranet platforms.
Experience implementing or managing digital workplace solutions.
Familiarity with integrating platforms such as Salesforce, Jira Service Management, and Workday.
Ability to manage vendors, technology teams, and business stakeholders.
Deep understanding of content operations, governance, and information architecture.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to translate business needs into functional workflows and CMS features.
Proven ability to drive operational improvements and enhance the employee digital experience.

Nice-to-Have Experience

Background in employee experience, internal communications, or digital workplace strategy.
Understanding of enterprise integration methods or API-driven systems.
