Contract Project Manager – Tier 1 Investment Bank

£530/day (Umbrella)

Start: 2 January 2025

Initial contract until: 30 October 2025

Location: 3 days onsite / 2 days WFH per week

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a multi-year, multi-jurisdiction system migration programme within a Tier 1 banking environment. This role involves managing several workstreams focused on the migration of legacy data into a new strategic application, with significant technology development and cross-functional collaboration.

Experience in reference data or trade migrations is highly advantageous.

About the Programme

You’ll join the Markets Program Execution & Transformation team, partnering across Global Markets businesses and key functions—Legal, Compliance, Finance, Risk, Operations & Technology—to deliver regulatory and cross-business transformational initiatives. The team’s mission is to design and implement integrated solutions in the most efficient and client-focused way.

Key Responsibilities

Lead working groups, workshops, and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements and define delivery plans
Manage project timelines, milestones, tasks, and actions across multiple workstreams
Produce accurate, insightful project updates and documentation for senior forums and committees
Ensure target-state tools, processes, and controls are socialized and approved by all relevant stakeholders
Coordinate internal and external dependencies across initiatives, collaborating closely with Risk, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control and Technology
Develop core project artifacts, including BRDs, FRDs, project plans, and UAT scenarios
