Role/Job title: Service Introduction Manager

Work Location: Nottingham

Role type: InsideIR35 Contract

Mode of working: Hybrid 3 Days/week

Duration of assignment: 6 months

The Role:

In the Health and Beauty Retailer space the role purpose is to use our Service and Business Operation expertise we collaborate across Delivery and Service, including internal IT teams, partner IT teams and 3rd parties to assess risk and ensure the quality transition of all new and changing application lead solutions.

Your responsibilities:

Understand and document a project’s impact on service, including designing any new or changing service models including run costs for any new or amended project elements.

To represent the customer when liaising with 3rd parties and partners to ensure robust end-to-end support model is delivered.
To be the service representative within the project team and ensure the project meets the Service Acceptance Criteria and confirm end to end service readiness.
Manage service risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure there are highlighted correctly through the correct processes, with ownership at each stage understood.
Document the updated service to be handed to Service Management.
To be flexible to meet project requirements by tailoring the SI approach where necessary, utilizing the framework accordingly.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

Experience of defining processes based on ITIL frameworks and demonstrate a strong understanding of the full project lifecycle and associated service transition path.
Experience of carrying out Service Design/Transition within different Operating Models.
Developing and owning Service Acceptance Criteria and necessary documentation.
Defining on-going impact and ensuring project impact on base costs are agreed.
Leading negotiations of SLAs and defining the underpinning Service Support processes.
Facilitating agreements & negotiations between 3rd parties and support teams with regards to design of the service.
Managing Service Readiness through to the final decision for project go lives.
Management of Service Risks.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

Dynamic and enthusiastic with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Adaptable to challenging situations, having a pragmatic and strategic way of thinking to resolve business issues.
Stakeholder Management including Customer Exec level Stakeholders.
5+ years’ Service Experience
18+ months Service Design/Transition at Management level
Effective Change Management skills
Ability to inspire, lead, manage and motivate a team.
Ability to drive continuous improvement.
Proven track record of working within both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
