Operation Risk Manager - UK Retail General Insurance Group

12 Month Fixed Term Contract - Start Date within 2-4 weeks.

Responsible for pro-active risk business partnering across the insurance group to further improve the risk culture.

Key contact for further development, delivery and embedding of an effective risk management framework within the insurance group and its subsidiaries.

Deliver risk & control trainings across the Group to upskill the 1st line and further improve risk culture.
Deliver pro-active business partnering to support 1st line understanding of risk and control activities.
Oversee and enhance risk event management process including root cause analysis.
Support the Group Director of Risk in the creation and delivery of high-quality reports for senior stakeholders and governance committees across the Group.
Support coordination of the Risk Champion Network.

Required:

Strong understanding of operational risk principles.
Experience in delivering and developing risk frameworks within a regulated environment.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels.
