Technical Sales Lead/Principle (UK)

We’re now scaling rapidly across the UK, following a national NHS Scotland deployment, and are looking for a Technical Sales Principle to join us on this journey, and assist the in-region sales team deliver success on commitments and targets.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, strategic role for a proven pre-sales or sales engineer ready to take the next step. You’ll own and lead Cylera’s UK technical operation — guiding our customers, partners, and internal teams through technical discovery, design, deployment, and integration.
You’ll work closely with Cisco, and other global partners to build new integrations through the Cylera Lab, while also shaping technical best practice across our UK customers and partners.
You’ll be the technical face of Cylera in the UK: credible with CISOs, hands-on with engineers, and trusted by both the sales and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all UK pre-sales and solution design activities, supporting account teams through discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements.
Oversee Cylera deployments across NHS and private healthcare sites, ensuring smooth technical delivery and ongoing success.
Build and manage a small UK technical team to support scaling delivery and customer engagement.
Collaborate with partners (Cisco, Microsoft, Google, CAE, Core to Cloud) to develop and demonstrate new technical integrations in the Cylera Lab at Abertay University in Dundee.
Support post-sales oversight, ensuring customers receive measurable value and seamless integrations into their security ecosystems.
Represent Cylera at technical workshops, partner events, and industry forums, promoting our capabilities and thought leadership.
Work closely with product and engineering teams to provide UK customer feedback and drive roadmap development and alignment.
About You
Strong background in pre-sales, solution engineering, or technical consultancy, ideally within cybersecurity, networking, or IoT.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
Experience integrating security platforms or managing complex networked environments.
Hands-on familiarity with one or more of the following:
Network Security NAC/Firewalls (i.e. Checkpoint, Cisco ISE, Aruba Clearpass, Forescout)
SOAR / SIEM (i.e Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Google Chronicle, QRadar)
Network CMDB (i.e. eQuip, Nuvolo, ITHealth)
Vulnerability Assessment (i.e. Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable)
Comfortable working across the full lifecycle: from pre-sales and design through to deployment and ongoing customer success.
A natural leader with the ambition to build and mentor a growing technical team.
