Programme Manager - Regulatory Investment Banking

Industry: Investment Banking

Location: London (Hybrid – 2-3 days/week in office)

Contract Length: Till end of June 2026 - View to extend

Our client, a leading player in the investment banking sector, is seeking a Programme Manager to join their UK Transformation team plans, executes and implements high profile, strategic programmes and projects throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the entire projects or programme including all underlying projects/ workstreams - taking ownership of project deliverables against agreed scope, budget and timeline
Proposing, establishing and using governance structures
Identification, on-boarding & managing of key stakeholders
Forward planning of milestones, tasks and activities
Identifying, resolving and escalating programme risks, issues and dependencies
Working with the programme sponsor and stakeholders to achieve the programme objectives in light of different interests and expectations
Quality management and control awareness of programmes delivered
Managing the change process within the scope of the programme

Requirements:

Proven track record of delivering large, complex & strategic projects/programmes in a corporate investment or institutional banking environment
Excellent project management knowledge and experience delivering non-IT programmes within a specific or range of business lines or functions
Ability to assess the quality being managed and delivered by the programme
Deep understanding of the impact regulatory change has on banking operations, Front-to-Ops
Strong experience in working with / reporting to Senior Executive level, whilst also being able to communicate efficiently with other stakeholders and peer groups
Experience working in a consultancy role or environment would be advantageous
