Job Specifications

Our client is looking for Director of Finance with strong technical knowledge of IFRS for a 6-month contract. The role will require working in office 1 day a week. Job#: 460477

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the month/quarter-end close process within IFRS.
Recording all financial transactions and maintaining appropriate books of accounts for the company
Monthly financial reporting and the preparation of annual/monthly financial statements which will include detailed notes to the financial statements
Preparing cash flow projections and manage cash requirements and working capital
Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
Provide support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses
Ensure SOX requirements are met and internal control processes are in place
Assisting VP FP&A with forecasting and budgeting
Manage the intercompany accounting process among multiple entities
Support the audit (internal and external) audit processes
Works with the business functions to streamline processes and improve accuracy of financial data
Ad-hoc requests.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA designation with 10+ years’ experience
Experience working within a public company and managing a team of 6+
Experience with financial system and SOX implementation
Excellent accounting and analytical abilities
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
High attention to detail
