Salesforce Test Analyst

Role overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring the quality of Salesforce Service Cloud solutions throughout the development lifecycle. This role demands a strong background in software quality assurance, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential issues. The QA Consultant will work closely with developers, architects, and project managers.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Salesforce Service Cloud implementations, based on provided designs and user stories.
Perform various testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to project stakeholders, highlighting areas of risk and potential improvements.
Collaborate with developers to ensure that solutions meet quality standards and business requirements.
Participate in requirements gathering and design reviews to provide input on testability and quality considerations.
Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and best practices.
Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverable deadlines.
Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.

Key Skills & Experience:

5+ years of hands-on experience as a Quality Assurance Consultant or Software Tester.
Extensive experience with Salesforce Service Cloud implementations.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Proficiency in designing and executing test plans and test cases.
Experience with Jira for defect tracking and test management.
Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly and concisely.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant) are highly desirable.
Experience with Accessibility requirements and testing
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar).
Experience with Accessibility requirements and testing
Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Knowledge of Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
Experience with tools like Zephyr.
Proven experience in test automation
