Victoria Intelligence is looking for a Founding CTO to lead the technical build of an anticipatory intelligence platform helping intelligence and security teams anticipate threats rather than react to them.

This is a founder-level role. You’ll own the technical architecture end to end, build and deploy the MVP, shape our data and ML strategy, and lay the foundations for the engineering function as we scale. You’ll work directly with the founder, with real influence over product direction, technical decisions, and long-term strategy.

We’re pre-funding but have strong early validation, with enterprise customers actively engaging around pilot use cases.

We’re looking for someone who has built real systems under real constraints and knows how to make sound trade-offs in early-stage environments. You should have:

5+ years building and owning production systems (SaaS, data platforms, AI/ML)
Experience in early-stage startups (founding engineer, first 10 hires, or equivalent ownership)
Strong backend foundations (Python, FastAPI or similar, modern data architectures)
Hands-on experience with NLP and/or LLM-powered systems
Comfort designing systems end to end, from ingestion and architecture through to ML pipelines and deployment
A pragmatic, opinionated approach and the ability to ship while things are still evolving
Clear communication and comfort operating in ambiguity
