Job Specifications

Position Title: Sr .Net Developer

Position Location: Farmers Branch Dallas, TX

Ability to work remote: 5 days onsite preferable, but will possibly be Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 remote

Acceptable time zone(s): CT

Days of the week: M-F 40 hours; There may be some on call rotation, in which case they flex their time.

Working Hours: M-F 9-5 CT, may flex a bit depending on when meetings are scheduled in EST. There may be some on call rotation, in which case they would flex their time.

OT: No

Travel: Possible - 1 time a year

Intended length of Assignment: May 29, 2026

Function of the Group:

Software engineering team that builds and maintains in-house applications for the enterprise architecture organization. Some of these are vendor products that we support, and some are built from scratch using technologies.

Initiatives/Projects:

This is an enhancements project which is an orange rocket effort that aims to streamline application design and the permit to build processing which is how applications will make changes to their architecture

Team Dynamic: Crew of 7. Scrum master, product owners, quality engineers, software engineers.

Roles/Day to Day Responsibilities:

Attending scrum ceremonies
Collaboration with team members
Respond to incidents or support other related issues with the applications being managed
May be in on call rotation and be primary contact for incidents.

Must have skills:

.NET Software Engineering Experience
C#
.Net
Angular

Flex skills:

Ansible Automation
OpenShift
Helm Charts
Python Scripting

Familiar with the language

Linux
Java – General Troubleshooting

Soft Skills:

Strong written communication skills
Ability to mentor and knowledge transfer

Education:

Bachelor’s, manager open to look at experience in lieu of education
SAFE, Agile Certification nice to have
.NET certifications related to cyber security nice to have

Role Differentiator:

This role is an interesting opportunity as we have just had a reorg. There’s a lot of new work coming our way and a resource in this role is going to have the opportunity to influence design and design choices and the direction we take on some of the upcoming work that is net new. Opportunity to get hands on existing technology. We will be building something from the ground up with control over the design.

Interview Process:

1st Round – Screening with hiring manager, 30 minutes
2nd Round – Panel interview with mix of technical team, senior engineers and product owners, 45-60 minutes
