One of our banking clients is looking for a Junior Digital Content Strategist / SEO Specialist to join their Corporate Communications team on a contract basis.

Job Title: Analysis & Consulting – Content Strategist (Junior)

Location: Toronto, ON

Work Model: Hybrid (3–4 days onsite)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Hours: 8:00–4:00 or 9:00–5:00 (overtime possible)

Pay Range: $35-$40 per hour.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll support enterprise-wide digital communications by managing, analyzing, and optimizing content across internal platforms. You’ll play a key role in improving content effectiveness, user engagement, and SEO performance across intranet and blog channels.

Key Responsibilities

Post and manage content on internal enterprise communication platforms.Own blog posting using Contentful, ensuring timely and relevant updates
Assist with and format internal email communications using Workshop
Analyze content performance data to identify trends and employee needs
Conduct content audits and content gap analyses
Create, maintain, and optimize the editorial calendar
Research and develop a strong understanding of target audiences
Support ongoing improvements to the intranet experience
Post and manage content on the blog

Must-Have Qualifications

2+ years of experience in Digital Content or Content Management
2+ years of Web Content experience
Strong understanding of content management systems, social media platforms, and SEO
Experience with tools such as SharePoint Online, Contentful, Workshop, Adobe Pro
Proven experience working with stakeholders

Nice to Have

Background in banking or financial services
Experience or exposure to JIRA

Key Skills

Strong content presentation and storytelling skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field.
