Salary: negotiable dependant on experience + benefits

Harvey Nash is extremely proud to be working on an exclusive basis with a leading Software Solutions provider and are currently looking to recruit an experienced Head of Professional Services on a permanent basis to lead a global, customer-facing delivery organisation within a high-growth SaaS business. This is a critical leadership role, accountable for ensuring customers realise maximum value from complex software implementations through world-class delivery, consulting, and training services.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the end-to-end Professional Services function and play a key role in shaping customer outcomes, operational excellence, and long-term scalability.

The Role

As Head of Professional Services, you will lead a multi-region team of project managers, consultants, and delivery professionals across Europe, North America, APAC, and offshore operations. You will set the strategic direction for service delivery while remaining close to execution on high-value and complex customer engagements.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and developing a global Professional Services organisation, ensuring high performance, engagement, and capability growth
Owning the successful delivery of SaaS implementations, consulting, training, and bespoke services
Establishing and embedding best-practice delivery frameworks, methodologies, and governance
Driving operational efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement across the services function
Acting as a senior escalation point and trusted advisor for strategic customers
Partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Finance to align services with commercial and customer objectives
Managing budgets, utilisation, resourcing, and services profitability
Defining and tracking KPIs and performance metrics to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery

About You

As Head of Professional Services; you will be a credible services leader with deep experience in SaaS or enterprise software environments. You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership and will be comfortable operating at executive level while still engaging in delivery when needed.

Key Requirements:

Extensive proven experience in senior Professional Services, Consulting, or Delivery leadership roles
Proven experience leading large, multi-region teams in a SaaS or technology-led organisation
Strong background in complex software implementations and customer success
Expertise in building and optimising scalable delivery models and operating frameworks
Commercial acumen, including services P&L, pricing, and utilisation management
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at board and C-suite level
A customer-first mindset and a track record of acting as a trusted strategic partner
