We are currently seeking a talented Delivery IT Solution Architect to join our team at BASF's Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive Salesforce solutions that align with our strategic business goals. In this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, advanced CRM solutions, and the ability to lead complex, multi-faceted projects. Leading and orchestrating the IT solution ensuring compliance with current security and compliance requirements.
Working closely with stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into the solution design.
Developing and maintaining the overall architecture for Salesforce and CRM digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Defining architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for Salesforce implementations.
Creating comprehensive documentation of solution designs, including architecture diagrams and integration descriptions.
Acting as a trusted advisor to business leaders and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations on Salesforce and CRM strategies.
Selecting appropriate technology stacks and platforms based on Enterprise Architecture governance policies.
Validating governance policies against requirements and collaborating with Agricultural Solutions Enterprise Architecture for adjustments if necessary.
Continuously reviewing existing solution designs for risks and vulnerabilities, and providing suggestions for mitigation.
Providing mentorship and guidance to product teams and IT Delivery Leads throughout product lifecycle.
Staying updated on changes in governance policies, as well as new technology offerings to our environment.
Staying current with Salesforce advancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within the Salesforce ecosystem.
If you have...
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
8 years of experience in IT, with at least 7 years focused on Salesforce and CRM solutions.
Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect) strongly preferred.
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, security, and integration patterns and a proven track record of leading and delivering complex Salesforce programs and projects.
Strong knowledge of CRM best practices, digital transformation, and customer engagement strategies.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Strong analytical-thinking, problem-solving skills and excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
