Job Description
The IT Business Analyst (Application Administrator / Analyst) role is to support the Global IT Business Applications team in the planning, design, development, and support of efficient business systems within core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. This role includes potential for designing, building, testing and analyzing application configurations. The IT Business Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. Supporting risk management and application administration is a key function of this role. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.

Strategy And Planning
Meet with decision makers, system owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
Acquisition And Deployment
Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
Operations Management
Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives to enhance solutions that address existing and potential trouble areas in systems across the organization, proposing solutions that are feasible and scalable.
Assess and amend any errors in a timely fashion.
Prepare status reports where required.
Perform in-depth tests for modified and new system.
Work with and assist project teams on implementation or upgrades of new and existing business solutions.
Support and manage the data conversion and migration functions within application implementations.
Configure and maintain applications at an administrative level and across multiple environments, including user security and application configurations.
Application customization and page customization management.
Manage application data refreshes from production to development and test environments.
Maintenance of ESS scheduled jobs within Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM and RMC.
Manage and support application report development, including maintaining OTBI security, models and object migrations.
Administrative privileged access and management of Oracle Cloud platforms.
Build, test, maintain application security roles and business objects.
User management including administering user access requests for the provisioning of roles and data access, user categories and SSO groups, deprovisioning access, following internal governance practices.
Risk Management build and maintenance of models and controls, including model migrations, control deployments, and related reporting.
Administer security incident assignments and related models and controls.
Internal and external audit reporting activities.
Design, build and maintain SQL databases, SQL-based objects (queries, stored procedures, functions),or SQL-based reporting appropriate to the required solutions.
Follow proper change management processes when performing any changes to solutions.
Work with Oracle Support for issues as applicable.
Other duties as required to support the IT Business Applications team.
Qualifications
Education
Required: College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, or management information systems and 3 years related work experience.
Work Experience
Required: 3+ years’ experience in deployment and support of software systems implementations within a global environment (cloud, hosted and on-premise platforms).
Oracle Fusion Cloud 2 year preferred experience within application administration.
Knowledge Required
In-depth technical and administration experience supporting applications.
Oracle Fusion Knowledge (technical, ERP, HCM) including basic functional knowledge of related modules (GL, AR, AP, PPM, SCM, Core HR, Talent, Recruitment, Absence).
Knowledge and hands on experience in applications such as Oracle Fusion, Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle EPM, InEight Cloud, SharePoint, Intelex Safety, PowerBi, ServiceNow, are beneficial to this r
