Title: Enterprise Information Security Architect
Location: Plano, TX or Tampa, FL
Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000–$200,000 annually plus bonus
Summary
The Enterprise Information Security Architect plays a key role in shaping and advancing enterprise-wide security architecture. This position partners closely with enterprise architecture, technology, and business stakeholders to design scalable, resilient, and future-ready security solutions. The role focuses on aligning security strategy with business objectives, supporting cloud and hybrid environments, and enabling innovation initiatives, including enterprise AI, while maintaining strong risk management and governance practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
7+ years of experience in information security architecture and identity and access management
Strong hands-on expertise with IAM platforms such as Okta, SailPoint, and Azure AD/Entra ID
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale security solutions
Advanced knowledge of risk assessment, threat modeling, and mitigation strategies
Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
Proficiency with enterprise technologies including Salesforce, Active Directory, PowerShell, and Group Policy
Strong understanding of security frameworks, architectural design principles, and IT systems architecture
Experience supporting cloud, hybrid, and on-premise security architectures
Responsibilities
Design, evolve, and maintain enterprise information security architecture and standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security capabilities with business and technology strategies
Embed security-by-design principles into projects and platforms across the organization
Partner with technology, risk, compliance, and business teams to strengthen security controls and processes
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure architectural solutions
Lead and support implementation of security enhancements across enterprise initiatives
Identify and drive automation and optimization opportunities within security operations
Ensure security architecture supports innovation, including enterprise AI initiatives
Develop and maintain security standards, policies, procedures, and architectural documentation
Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to information security leadership
Conduct architectural risk assessments and define mitigation strategies
